I just found this forum. My Nitro is a company car so I don't really have as much invested in it....but this stalling issue is SERIOUS.

I have driven my SLT 4x4 for about 3 weeks now...and up until two days ago no problems. We had unexpected snow in my area and I was driving home from work in 4 wheel drive, probably doing about 25 mph and WHAM, for less than a second EVERYTHING went out. I wasn't turning like many of you were when yours died. It did not completely die....it did what NITRO818 describes. Powered off momentarily (less than a second) then back on and so far for the last two days it's been fine.

I saw there was a recall but that was for a transmission problem. Am I missing it or is there a recall for this power failure? If this happens again and they don't have a fix I am going to refuse to drive this death trap.

As I say, if I missed something please point me to the right thread. Thanks!
