Re: 25-30mph shuddering

Ok, so I took my SLT in and told them about the shudder and the TSB and such. They did the flash and also told me that my serial number doesnt go with the tork converter TSB. The service manager told me that the tork conv. needs 5-8000 kilometers on it before it is broke in and the shudder will stop. Wonderin if i just got pushed out the door or do these guys realy not know anything?

Re: 25-30mph shuddering

Wow with all these Auto tranny issues, I am glad I ordered my Nitro with a Stick.

Has anybody out there had this vibration issue with the 6 speed?

Ok, so I felt the shuddering, found the TSB and went to the dealer expecting that since it's a known issue and that Chrysler is aware of it, everything would be taken care of.
No so much!
The service guy told me that my transmission and torque conceter was (unlike the ones mentioned in the TSB) buildt by Mercedes and therefore the TSB did not apply! He said he test drove my Nitro and he apparently couldn't feel anything! Bullcrap!
I'm going to pick up the Nitro tomorrow, and if it is still there I'm going straight back and demanding that he come with me for a ride...!

And not oly that, but when I dropped it off they said they didn't have any loaner for me and that they would have to call Enterprise for a car and that I would have to pay for that myself!!! Ehh... No! I made a big fuss and they finally agreed to take care of the rental fee but I still had to cover the $18/day insurance! Me=p1$$ed off!

I just picked up my Nitro SXT yesterday and I had read over this forum extensively just so I would be prepared for any kinks seeing as this is a new vehicle.

And sure enough, it shudders when I'm sitting at a stop light and when I'm going 30-45mph.

Calling the dealer today and taking it in tomorrow morning hopefully.

And to HEMI - it definitely has nothing to do with "breaking in" because mine has 15k miles on it and it's still doing it. The person who had it before me probably had no idea about the TSB.

Red face TSB Info Needed

So, I bought my 2007 Nitro in January, and thought I was just nervous about a new rig bigger than my old Escort. But, now I see that the 35-40mph shudder is common.
Does anyone else notice that when you take off from a dead stop, get to about 20-25, then let off the gas, that it "clunks?" Like a hard shift?
How do I find these TSB's?? I'd like to have the info in hand if I need to take it to the dealer- I bought it an hour away from home so I'd like to get it done in one trip if I can.
Any info would be great...thanks.

Can someone post the link to the recent TSB's for the 07 transmission issues? Mine does the same shuuder, and a little clunking when I let off the gas, and I'd like to have the info in hand when I take it to the dealer (thats an hour or more away from home so Id like to do it all in one trip if possible).
any info on how to find the TSBs/reflash/break in info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I looked on the Dodge site and found the TSB's, but none listed in '06 for the Nitro, and nothing posted for '07???

I have an 08 6-speed manual, and I experience this issue under light throttle at many speeds between 30-55mph. It feels like I'm hitting bumps in the road, but I am not.
