Oil Change

I got a Dodge Nitro in February, and it was due for an oil change a few weeks ago. My dad went to change the oil and he couldn't get to the oil filter to change it. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get to it??

It is kinda tough to get to, but I got to mine from the bottom.

Would a dealer or mechanic have any problems getting to it??

It's just a tight fit from the bottom. I got mine with an oil filter wrench that has a jointed like handle. Then I put on a K&N oil filter which goes on with a regular wrench.
