I was reading the owners manual and I couldn't figure out the towing.

I bought an sxt on Saturday and the towing chart in the owners manual says that the 3.7L tows 2000 lbs the 3.7L with cooler tows 3500 and their was some stuff about 5000 lbs that I can't remember. I don't have the towing package.

My question is. If I install a trailer hitch, how much will I be able to safely tow?

Hey there, not sure if this helps..I have the 3.7L 4x4 nitro the 210 hp model and i have a old 17ft larson boat around 2500lbs..It towes it just fine, power wise but it's a bit bouncy so that may help u out a bit..
