I am waiting on my Nitro i will be picking it up in February. It will be sweet, But i feel really bad not waiting because i want the MY GIG and this sucks that i ordered it in September and had to wait for the my gig. I guess i will just either have to shell out the money and have the dealer install it or go for a different type of navigation. Does any one have any other ideas?

I just saw on another dodge nitro forums that the MYGIG is going to be released sometime this month. I have not been able to confirm this with my dealer. Is there anyone out there who can confirm this for me. I have had my Nitro on order since September and been holding on the order because Chrysler hasn't lifted the restriction. This seems like the only restriction it hasn't lifted yet. If anyone has any New information regarding the MYGIG (RER) option please let me know at grantmiles1@yahoo.com

I ordered my R/T 01/08/2007 that was the first day ordering opened for the MyGiG system
Have your dealer check in their computer system as of 01/08 the MyGiG showed up on the system and that means it is available for order
Their have also been other people that have placed thir orders withe the MyGiG included

Yup, I ordered on 1/10/07. No sweat. Get back to your dealer and make them get up off their butts, or tell them you are going elsewhere. You can bet they will move then.

I was in the showroom on Saturday and the sales guy said that the MyGig was now available for order in Canada. He showed me on the "factory order builder" computer to prove it.

OK can anyone send me proof that MY GIG Is actually being sold in the USA on the NITRO my dealer here is still telling me it wont be available till the end of the month. Something to do with the wiring. With the nitro. So any proof so i can go to them with would be helpful...

this may not be total proof but i know someone that works at the toledo plant and i sent him my VON number on 1-10-07 and this is what i got back from him...........todd did not list everything (options, as he was just showing me that it is listed in the system) that came up on the report but he did show this.......................................

I checked on the mygig's for a friend of mine who's on this forum and sales are open for the units (as you know) though they are not released. In the MOPAR system there are already 37 on order and orders are filled on a first come first serve basis usually. I contacted the person I know who really takes care of the forum members the most, Jeff at MPSC (MoparSupercenter.com) and he gave me some good information to pass along.

The new part number for the mygig is 5064080AF (AD has been superceded)
Retail is $1860.00
MPSC forum member price is $1598.50

If you guys have any questions, just give Jeff a call at 800-456-5337 and ask for him in parts. He's a good guy and will take good care of you.
