What do you mean 10-12week lead time? Are you saying my Vehicle will be produced before others?

i have a friend that works at the toledo plant.....

he sent me an email yesterday with this info...........

There is still a material restriction on the vehicle. I'm guessing it is still for the mygig. We are still building R/T's, though at a very low rate right now (only around 1%). I haven't heard of a restriction on the 20's, though I know Stephan was telling me there were a lot of Aspens brought back to the dealer because of the tires on the 20's, apparently they felt like they were out of alignment to a lot of customers. I'll do some checking and see if I can find anything out.

i then asked him how many vehicles they produce a day........

and this is his answer.................

1100 cars a day, about %60 nitro / %40 liberty, so around 600 nitros a day right now...

so that means they are building approx 6 to 7 R/T Nitros a day or approx 40 in a 6 day week....................now how many Nitro R/T 's are on order and how many are ahead of mine or yours..................and i also was told that the MyGiG was not released on monday like scheduled...................OUCH

I wish we knew how much longer the material hold on the MyGiG will hold up production.

I wouldnt want to be the head man at the company supplying the MyGIG's to Dodge right now. I bet his ass is red.

You have got to be kidding me? I have been waiting since September for this almost ready to just give up and get it without the mygig. I really hope your mistaken thinking its the my gig. I ordered the SLT 4X4 so i am hoping that they are producing at least the SLT quicker. I am still waiting for the build date for my SLT. I still haven't heard anything from my dealer. I was supposed to pick it up on the 20th of february. But doesnt look like that is going to happen. i thought and figured i would have a build date by now. to bad i couldnt get someone to check on it for me. Im not worried about the 20's since i dont have that option.

The part numbers listed that were given out for the My Gig radio, are incorrect if you already have your JK and want to add the My Gig nav. The part numbers were actually for the radio head only and did not include an owners manual or GPS antenna. But it also says the radio has not been released for production yet, which also affects those of you waiting to order your ride, so... I think they're still trying to work out the bugs.

I believe this is strictly a manufacturing issue with Harman and not DCX's fault. I think DCX is not willing to release it until they know for sure it is going to work as adverstised.

i have heard that the MyGiG has not been released yet, but they are working on getting it out ASAP
