Ok i need a little help now my dealer is telling me the MY GIG went back on restriction. Can anyone help me to find out if this is true?

I have not talked to my source in a couple days but the last time i talked to him the MyGiG was still on restriction and had never came off restriction. They were having meetings on getting this moving forward but thats all i know at this time

Ok i appreciate if you can find anything out from your source at the plant. THis is really bugging me that my dealer tells me its lifted i go a head with the order and now i get told i have to wait. So any info would be greatly appreciated

its possible your dealer was mistaken how he explained things
the ordering for the MyGiG opened up jan 8 2007. but at that time (as it still is now) the MyGiG was on material hold (so if you ordered a nitro with the MyGiG it automatically went on material hold) hopefully things will happen soon

The material hold on my R/T was for the MyGiG
Looks like they are going to start building Nitros with MyGiG soon

Thats awesome, I really can't wait to see it. I was so disappointed it wasn't even in the nitro's at the autoshow a couple weeks ago, but this is good news. Not sure what status d means, but they should be out on the lots soon? the mygig really sets the nitro apart from everything else in its class

Note : I status does not mean "Built Not Ok". Every car goes to I status, that simply means the car is off the production line, however it still has to go thru validation and testing before it's J (certified).

Now, if the car is routed to the garage for repair, it will stay in I status longer. I is the "Built" status. The car is assembled. J is the "Out of the plant - going to shipping" status.

i could see everyone (including myself) having a cow seeing their vehicles go to "I" thinking something is wrong

so "I" status is just a normal build sequence that every vehicle goes through
