MyGig Nav DVD

Is there any reason to leave the MyGig NAV DVD in the drive? I am pretty sure the DVD is preloaded to the hard drive. Is the preload done at the Factory?

There is no dvd for the nav that comes with the mygig.
It's loaded on the hardrive from the factory. Maybe any updates might be on dvd, but that would be upload it to the radio and remove it then.

mine came with 4 DVD's in a package, and they were already loaded to the MyGig at the factory
