The problem is that the disk drive wont take and disks. it sucks it in about a 3rd of the way in and stops. Any help would be great.

This is a great Site with many Links and info you should know about your MyGig. There is even a Link to the manufacture so that could solve your issue. They may exchange them or have a repair service. The Dealerships don't do it and they send them in for repair under warranty. Being out of warranty maybe a Dealership knows who repairs them. Get a price from them to send it in for you as a comparison. I guess I would be concerned that you may have bought a stolen unit, but if it does not work I would think the most that would happen is that you might loose it, if found to be stolen and bought on E-Bay.
