No, I thought I would give them until the first of February before I start pestering them too much. They told me it could be in as fast as four weeks, but more likely six. The dealership had not ordered any R/Ts yet, but the SLTs they had special ordered have been comming in really fast. Back when I ordered an '03 Liberty Limited, is was delivered in just four weeks. So it is possible.

With the weather we are having just now, I wish I already had it in my hands!

Re: Full-time 4WD (July 10, 2007)

I went to dealer today and checked out the pre-spec R/T he had there. It was part-time 4WD with the switch next to the shifter. Dealer agrees it will be whatever is being mfgr'd at the time. Within a week he already sold the pre-spec which is okay by me because I want leather interior too. The dealer has now got the regional mgr involved to expedite my order since I probably lost some time with the full-time 4WD ordering fiasco. The wife still wants it for herself so why not.

On another note though, I also came within an inch today of leasing a fully loaded (GPS and all) 2007 demo BMW 335 Sedan. Before I had a 2002 BMW Z3 M Coupe that I can't seem to forget - great cars. I hate the new Z4 M Coupe though - where's the uniqueness? The 335 motor is just as good, if not sweeter, with the dual turbos. We'll see where it all goes.
