The 4,000 workers at the Toledo Jeep Assembly complex will be off on July 4 and then head into a one-week or two-week summer shutdown for model changeover, a Chrysler LLC spokesman said yesterday.

Spokesman Ed Saenz said the Jeep Liberty and Dodge Nitro factory will be shut down for the weeks of July 7 and 14, and the next-door Jeep Wrangler factories will be closed the week of July 14.
