Can you help.

My Speedo has a mind of its own. i.e. need spins erratically from time to time. I have been to a dealer and as always with it being intermittent - it was workig fine on the test.....typical!

Does anyone know if this is electically operated or is it the old fashion cable that drives it?

like everything else it is computer controlled. It is unfortunate that the computer systems in our vehicles are crap. I think they charged Micro$haft to program it. Next thing you know there will be a "please reboot" light on the dash.
