What engine should go in the Nitro SRT?

I personally think a Supercharged 6 cyl. would be pretty cool.

same as the crossfire SRT-6?

btw, anyone heard the weight of this thing yet?

Don't get your hopes up about a Nitro SRT. I think the 4.0L R/T will be the sportiest model of the bunch.

I think down the road like a year or two we will see an SRT Nitro, it has the looks to be an srt and there would definately be a market for it, I think a s/c 6 would definately be the way to go!

Why not a turbo for the 4.0L. Should be fairly simple for the line to produce.

One option could be the modified 4.0L from the Chrysler Sebring Tuner car.

It may be a little heavier but I would love to see a V-8 Hemi.

I would rather see a forced feed V6 than a N/A V8, that way it would keep the weight down plus it would give a easy option on increasing the power with a tuner chip/ecu. More Boost! Don't get me wrong, I love big V8's but I don't see it passing regulations.

I dont think turbo is an option for the Nitro... S/C V6 would be better ( for me)
