NEW REVIEW:2008 Dodge Nitro R/T 4X4
The Dodge Nitro is a better drive than a similarly equipped Jeep Liberty.
The price is steep, but this Nitro will run circles around a similarly priced and equipped Liberty. That's because even though the Nitro shares the Liberty underpinnings, our test Nitro came equipped with the much more powerful and responsive 4.0-liter, 260-hp, 265-lb-ft V6 and five-speed automatic, versus the Liberty's 3.7-liter, 210-hp, 235-lb-ft V6 and four-speed auto. Further, the Nitro is about 75 pounds lighter than the similar Liberty.
