2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport: What’s New
For 2008, the Sport returns with no major mechanical changes. New power-folding exterior mirrors have been added, along with an eight-way power passenger seat up front, and a power-adjusting steering wheel. Some console trim pieces get new finishes, and the HSE's leather door inserts have been restyled. And customers who choose the Supercharged edition get a choice of wood interior treatments, leather, and optional 20-inch wheels.
The Sport HSE continues to be powered by a 4.4-liter V-8 that generates 300 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The Supercharged 4.2-liter version, meanwhile, generates 390 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. This engine will take the vehicle to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds.
