“This thing came on fast,” observed Toledo UAW Local 12 President Bruce Baumhower, whose members churn out the Jeep Wrangler, Liberty, and Dodge Nitro. “I’m getting 24 mpg on my Nitro. I was happy with that. But when gas went from $2 to $4 a gallon, the consumer wanted 35 mpg.”
My Nitro gets 15 mpg City and 18 mpg highway.I am good with that. It is a Truck. Still I hope that it stays around for a few more years.
