NITRO pins man against wall

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Authorities said a woman used her car to shove a man into the wall of a garage and drive over him twice.

Sue Lin Ferguson, 39, of the 700 block of Third Street Southwest, Vero Beach, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief. She posted $5,500 bail Wednesday.

The man called 911 after having his right foot and right hand run over by Ferguson, according to the arrest affidavit. He told an Indian River County sheriff's deputy he had been in an argument with Ferguson at a home in the 200 block of Eighth Terrace at 3:30 p.m., the report said. Ferguson went into her Dodge Nitro, parked on the side of her garage, and asked the man to come talk to her on the driver's side, the report said. When he did, Ferguson put the car in drive and pinned him against the wall, he told police.
Ferguson threw the car in reverse, but the man was dragged along with it, the report said. The car drove over the man's right foot, which caused him to fall. Ferguson drove away, driving over his right foot and striking the man's car on her way out, the report said.

Ferguson turned herself in at the Vero Beach Police Department at 5 p.m.

Paramedics treated the man's injuries, but he was not hospitalized.

Ugly situation.

Since I just added the Carriage Works grill and had the Nitro waxed, I wouldn't want to get any shirt button scratches on it.
