Farewell Nitro (Maybe Not?)
Well this was the shortest time I have ever owned a vehicle. After being in the shop for this past week and having the planetary gearset housing replaced the thing made it exactly 6 miles before making the squealing sound AGAIN!. I called the dealer and they said that their transmission guy is out next week but they will get it in and see what they can do. Regardless of what happens this P.O.S. is heading down the road. They have one last shot at fixing it before they will be buying it back under the lemon law or if it is fixed it will be traded as the chance of other problems arising is pretty high. It is sad as it is by far the best looking SUV out there and my wife liked it. I guess we'll be heading to Ford.
