“I’m pleased with the results today. I feel like I have room to improve as a driver, but I’m pleased with the results today. This was a true team effort. We raced in the top five, top 10 all day, just solid, strong and smooth. It sure was a lot of fun. We were sure fast on the straightaways, great engines. We had a solid platform today. It was fun to drive. We had a few close calls, got into a couple of cars, but that’s part of racing at road courses.”

PAUL WOLFE (Crew Chief, No. 22 Discount Tire/Ruby Tuesday Dodge Charger)
“It was an awesome day, just what we needed to do. It was very impressive what we’ve been able to accomplish on the road courses this year with Brad. We’ve come to places where he didn’t feel like he was very good, but I think he’s turned into a pretty darn good road racer. “I don’t know if I have enough really good words to tell you how I feel about Parker. He’s a great young man on top of having a ton of talent and racing ability. He constantly amazes me with what he has done with so little experience comparatively to a lot of the drivers out there. We had a struggle getting going at first this year, but made some changes in the direction of what we’re doing and the last four races, he’s had career bests. Hopefully, we’re going to get more opportunities for him before the end of the year. I’m looking forward to it. I love going to the track working with this young kid. It’s something I personally have always wanted to do. There’s a lot of excitement at Penske Racing about this kid. There’s no doubt in my mind he’s an upcoming bright star in this sport.”

“It was a great finish for everybody at Penske Racing today, three cars in the top 10. It’s a great way to end our road course season. Next year, we’ll come back with a new car, the Challenger. I’m excited about that. It was an eventful day for us. We actually got some damage early, on lap one getting down into turn one. I got shoved from behind into the cars in front of me. My guys didn’t give up. All in all, it was a great day. I’m proud of the Verizon Dodge guys, they do a great job every week. This is the first road course we’ve finished this year. To be able to do it in the top 10, that’s where we deserve to be.”

“Brad just showed how strong he is as a driver and the fact that he’s now run three road courses and finished inside the top five in all three is a great feat, a credit to the whole Discount Tire/Ruby Tuesday team. Putting a car together that stays together with good brakes is always tough here at Montreal. To see Parker (Kligerman) finish eighth and Justin (Allgaier) come back to finish ninth with those Dodge Chargers, it’s a tremendous day for us. One of the things we’re working on is try to see if we can win this owner championship along with the championship overall. Carl (Edwards) had a tough day. He looked awful strong. But again, it’s reliability. You have to finish before you can finish first. It showed the classic issue, it’s reliability. Paul Wolf and the whole team put together our Dodge with great preparation, great reliability and had a great finish.”
