Engine heaters are a MUST where I live.

The local Chrysler dealership was closed for a long time, but re-opened last winter. I'll check with them before zipping up to Anchorage (3 hour drive). I bought my Nitro in the late spring last year. I didn't worry about the cold until the fall. I saw a mechanic about installing an engine heater. He fished around under the hood and came up with a cord and plug. Yippee! It was there all the time. Normally, we get temperatures below zero...may even dip to minus 20, but this last winter was unusual. We had minus thirty (Fahrenheit) temperatures for more than two weeks and below zero after that. (Where is global warming when you really need it?) I didn't have them, but heated seats sounded pretty nice.
Thanks for your help.
