Oil Change Light Reset

The Oil Change Light and Warning Chime comes on after I have changed the oild twice now. How do I reset this?

If you don't have the R/T or the on board dash computer, and yours just flash "CHANGE OIL" on the odometer display:


To reset the Oil Change "counter":
* With engine OFF...........
* Turn key ON (but don't start engine)
* Push accelerator pedal to floor 3 times
* Turn key OFF

Its the requirement of your ride after a long use of this. You need to replace the engine oil.

The Nitro 2.8 year 2007. The oil filter is o the top but where is the sump plug? I know it must be on the bottom, but has anyone got a diagram of where it is and have any panels to be taken off???

I haven't changed the oil on my 2.8 CRD yet, (but i will be soon as i'm only going to go to the dealer every second service now that the warrantee's over)
but i think you have to remove the sump protection plate first.
