serv4wd

Does anyone have experience with the "serv4wd" light coming on? I was on hardpack snow and flicked the "4wd" switch and the light came on but no 4wd? Is it electrical or mechanical issue? Guess it's into the shop tomorrow.

Follow up.
Dealership replaced the shift actautor motor - problem solved.
