Unhappy whistling Noise => CRD Turbo Hoses - Leak, Crack

Hello to you, especially the Diesel Connection

One often occuring CRD-Defect has reached me now, as much of my Nitro Friends here.

I have had a little bit of Luck, because it started with a whistling Noise coming through the Air inlet (sorry, I don't know the correct english Word) in the Dash Board at the right Side. First I have thought of the Bearings. But watching how the Sound develops, I had to recognize that it depends on the rpm and not on Speed. And: It was only there when I have accelarated my Truck. Another Effect added: Heavy "Bonanza-Effect" between 1500 and 2000 rpm while just rolling with less Gas.

Others have had not has so much Luck, they have had directly a big Problem maybe bigger Crack in the Hoses, so the Truck directly went to Emergency Running Program, Smoke out off the Exhaust etc ...

Replacement Hoses from Dodge cost around 350 Euros here (that's hard), so I decided to replace with TOMGAN's Stainless Steel Tube Solution. They are on the Way to me and I'll keep you informed including Pictures.

Here are my new Turbo Hoses from TOMGAN

Hopefully you like this

Very impressing is the Change in driving. With the Rubber Hoses I have had an extra Portion of Power at 2000/min, now I have got the Torque Moment earlier (at 1600/min) and a continuous Raise of Power upt to 2000/min and than on the old Level. This means, I have more Power at lower rpm. I like it, because this the rpm I normaly use. So maybe this saves Fuel, I don't know.

Where do you buy it at Europe? How much do you pay for it?
Thanks in advance.

Hello from Germany to Spain, Lombar!

at first an additional Info: Yes, I have spared some fuel. I need 0,3 to 0,5 Liters less per 100 km.
The higher Price of 50 Euros (currently nearly 70 Dollars) compared to the original equipment is spared after 5000km (3000 Miles).

I have paid 400 Euros for the complete and pre-mounted set. My garage needed 1h to mount it (This was another 60 Euros, relatively cheap). He has small hands and did not need to demount any other Parts like battery or water can.

You can find all necessary contact data on the Homepage TOMGAN AUTOZUBEHÖR - TOMGAN Car Parts (www tomgan de / click on impressum for contact, on the photo for parts infos)
He produces very much tuning Parts for Nitro.
By the Way: If you can wait a little bit, you can choose the Colour of the Rubber parts (red or black or blue...)
