Talking power vs. noise?

What's better? A brand new exhaust with a cold air intake or a brand new exhaust with a superchip? I'm after a little bolder growl from my v6 and a little better fuel economy. This thing is not too bad on fuel but I'm sure it could be better. If anyone has any suggestions or prior experience with either modification please let me know. I'm just about to go to Meineke to get an magnaflo exhaust put in. Please help. Thanks.

My previous ride was an 06 Commander with the 4.7 V8. I added an aFe CAI. It didn't help the mileage, but it sure sounded great. I may go for the Mopar CAI for my 3.7, but I'm not planning on changing the exhaust.

Welcome to the forum. Since my last post, I have taken off the resonator in order to be able to install a Borla twin square intercooled tip, and am seeing a slight increase in my MPG. I still plan to add the Mopar CAI at some later date, but I have basically blown my budget for a while with my new wheels.
