Does anyone know which format the Nitro is wired with? I want to swap my Media Center 130 single disc with Sirius to a Media Center 230 6 disc with Sirius. I have a uconnect module on order (backordered for 7 weeks so far!) which will fit with either of these radios. In looking up part numbers, there are a multitude of part numbers for these radios, some model specific, yet dealers are selling them as listed for installation in Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep. They all look the same to me, and my dealer can't tell me what the difference is (plugs, bus, etc) between the part numbers. The part # that is Nitro specific is 05064948AF (I believe the letters are software updates), but I need to know what will fit a Nitro and what won't. Is it possible some have a different sized face plate? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks for reading.
The Nitro is a high speed BUS, so you will want a high speed BUS radio
Thank you for the reply. Is there a way to tell from the Mopar pt no whether the radio is high or low speed? As a stated in my first post, the Media Center 230 radio pt no for the 2011 Nitro is 05064948AF. I found one on ebay, pt no 05064948AC. Neither the seller (a Mopar reseller) or the parts dept at my dealer can tell me what the difference is between a "C" and an "F". Is it a software update, a different mfg date, or what? The reseller on ebay will take it back if it doesn't work, but I don't want to go through the hassle. I figured the face plates were all the same, but I can't figure out why there is a multitude of pt no for each radio, some vehicle specific, some a range of vehicles.

The last two letters are revisions. So A is first, B is after A, C is after B and A, etc. The AF part makes sense for the 2011 Nitro, but the AC part number would have been for a 2009ish Nitro maybe? Theoretically it should work, but I'm not 100% positive.
If it helps, the 2007+ Nitro, 2007+ Liberty, 2007+ Wrangler, 2008+ Grand Caravan, 2008+ Town & Country, 2008+ VW Routan, 2009+ Ram 1500 and 2010+ Ram 2500 and 3500 models all use a High Speed BUS
I'm not sure if it makes a difference on the non-mygig models if its high or low speed, but it probably does. I know that the majority of mygig on ebay have high or low speed in the item description.
Thanks for the reply. The new radio is priced $658 from Mopar (AE), and the one on ebay (AC) is buy now $259. It is new, never used, a take out for a radio swap. The bid closed, but it was reposted for the same price. I'll ask the seller if he knows what vehicle it was removed.
