so i have the factory infinity stereo. i ordered 4 alpine type r coax (2-way) speakers. i was to replace the factory mid range drivers with the type r's. in order to get the tweeters on them to work too can i just splice into the tweeter wires and run them to the alpines as well? this way the speakers built in crossover will just split the signals itself?
ok can someone at least tell me if the tweeters are hooked up in parallel with the 6.5's? or is there a full range signal going to every speaker with a just a resistor on each speaker to tune out certain frequencys?
