New to the boards, but not new to modding. Wife is out buying a 2011 Nitro as I type this. Checking out on what mods I will be doing to the Nitro. I will not be modding this as heavy as I like since it is hers..Below is my Tundra build. Good to be here!

Welcome to the forum. Which Model is she getting? I have found a lot of ideas on ebay, and the Mopar Store has a lot of neat stuff. Search this site - there are a lot of good looking Nitro's here. I have gotten some good ideas since surfing this site, beginning in April when I purchased my Nitro. My signature indicates my intentions, but all things in time!
I have made only some smaller modifications:
- Chrome Covers for Mirrors, Door handles and Gate Handle
- Eibach Spacers 25mm each Side front and 30mm each Side rear
- Black Rims with small metallich looking "Stripes", Type: Ronal J48 frontkopiert
- Day Running Lights in the Place of the Fog Lamps with Chrome Rings around the Holes
I prefer if it is not too exaggerated. But sometimes...

Are the Eibach spacers for your wheels? If so, do they just mount between the wheel and hub, using the original wheel studs? I had spacers on my Jeep Commander, and they actually had another set of studs mounted to the spacers. So, the spacers bolted to the hubs, and my wheels bolted to the spacers. Due to safety concerns, neither my dealer nor my tire shop wanted to work on my Jeep, concerning the tires, for safety reasons. They would not even rotate my tires, so in the end, I took the spacers off and sold them to someone else.
Thanks guys! She is getting the Heat 4x2 w/ sunroof and a few other options.
I would have liked to have gotten the sunroof. At the time of purchase, my dealer only had 2 Nitro Heats: red w/sunroof, silver w/o. I chose silver because the Jeep Commander I traded in was silver, and I was used to the color.
Ya she is still in the holding pattern because of the "must have" sunroof..I have a dealer giving $5K off the MSRP, so that is beating the current $3K already offered. So awaiting Monday to come!
