wife's new nitro

well i finally gave in and let the wife get a new nitro. we traded in 04 ram w/ 3.7 manual tranny; got the sxt with the slt package, sunroof and upgraded seats. i love the electric blue color and glad that it has color matching panels and the thing that made the decision easier was the blue/black seats. as far as everything goes i guess im happy with it, lil better gas, automatic tranny and cruise control; but of course we were remodeling the house at the same time and i miss having the xtra room of the truck bed, not to mention the longer payments. gotta love life, wake up, work and make payments on things, never changes. had to edit: we are from Texas livin in lousyanna

"Lousyanna", huh?

Never been there, so I can't say one way or another. It's one of 3 US states (Louisiana, Kansas, North Dakota) that I have not been to yet ... well, 4 if you count Michigan ... I changed planes there once.

louisiana is the big winner. just rolled over 6k miles and definitely not as happy as would have been with the full size ram still. she drove it out to vegas and we drove it back here, 3k miles totalish and it was no where near as comfy as the time we did it in an exploder. gas was prolly better than our ram and cruise was fantastic but other than that im unhappy, alas the things we do to make others happy

Funny! I gave my Nitro to my wife! Gas mileage not good for me to drive back and forth to work. I do over 70 round trip, wife does over 7! We met in Ft. Polk, LA and got married there! I was not a fan of the heat in the summer! Nice to meet you, enjoy the new truck. I will be driving ours up to 4 hours to go racing, so I will see how compfy it will be then.
