Granted, the Chrysler Sebring has never been the sexiest car on the road, and is more likely to just blend in with the rest of the ho-hum vehicles on the road, but if you have a look inside the new 2007 model, you'll find one of the best factory installed entertainment systems in the industry. You see, the 2007 Chrysler Sebring is said to sport not a regular CD player, but a 20GB hard drive with a 6.5-inch touchscreen instead. But wait, there's more.
This "MyGiG" 20GB hard drive will not only store a large selection of tunes for your cross-country road trip, but it will also give you the ability to show off the family pictures you're taking along the way. Moreover, it has built-in Sirius satellite radio with real-time traffic information, voice control, Bluetooth, and integrated GPS navigation. To update the hard drive with new maps, upload new music, and the like, simply make use of the simple USB jack found in the front. iPod users can listen to their (i)tunes too, thanks to the aux mini-jack.
It's a little surprising to see Chrysler debuting this ultimate in-car-entertainment system in a relatively entry-level ($25,000) car, instead of in some of their higher end vehicles, but hey, Dr. Z is a little strange. There's also word that this MyGiG system will also be found in the new Dodge Nitro and Jeep Wrangler.
