2012 Chrysler 700C Concept

Chrysler surprised the crowds at Cobo Center with the 700C, a concept car that could be an early first look at the company's next minivan.
Few details are available, but while we're working on bringing them to you, we'll just point out some of the clever design details we saw as we caught the 700C right after its unveiling. For one, the concept's winged Chrysler badge is embedded in the rear glass, instead of in its body panels. The concept also has nested side door handles that look like a single piece of bright metal trim.
Other first glances show some clearly unproduceable bits, like the angle of the B-pillars.
An official press conference is set for Tuesday, when we expect all the details on the possible replacement for Chrysler's minivans, which were introduced in 2008 and updated for the 2011 model year.
