Jeep Wrangler, Liberty plant to run through Christmas break
Jeep Wrangler, Liberty plant to run through Christmas break
Dec 13, 2011
With Jeep Wrangler and Liberty sales flying high, Chrysler Group LLC has decided to keep its Toledo Assembly plant running over the Christmas holidays. Of course, workers will volunteer to forgo the break between Christmas and New Year’s and will be compensated accordingly.
“Because Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Liberty demand around the world is very high, this plan will allow the company to satisfy a portion of that demand,” Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson said.
The Wrangler line will operate with only one of its normal two shifts. The two Toledo plants will be the only Detroit 3 plants running between the holidays.

Would have been nice if this would have included our NITRO production instead of it being discontinued!
