In 2011, we demonstrated that outstanding results can be achieved when we bring together clear objectives, strong motivation, and enormous passion. We continued the effort that has allowed us to reach significant milestones, including introducing 16 all-new or substantially refreshed products with improved powertrains, world-class interiors and heightened attention to detail in only 19 months. Customers responded enthusiastically increasing our market share by two full percentage points. In addition, we received numerous product awards and third party endorsements dramatically increasing our standing in independent reviews.

In May, we paid back every dollar received in loans from the U.S. and Canadian governments with interest, six years ahead of schedule. We continued to invest in both our plants and in our people announcing plans to spend $851 million in facility improvements and adding nearly 9,000 jobs across the company.

The reinvented Dodge Dart, the highly symbolic first vehicle featuring a Fiat and Chrysler architecture, was unveiled to the public highlighting our alliance with Fiat and the possibilities that can be achieved.

It took an incredible team effort to bring about such remarkable results, and you should be proud.

The Profit Sharing Payment rewards employees based on the financial results of the Company. Therefore, it is my pleasure to recognize you with this Payment which reflects the collective achievement of our Company's performance and your personal contributions in 2011.

Significant progress can be accomplished when we work together and our goals are aligned. I ask that you continue to demonstrate the strength and courage you have shown to challenge our destiny and revitalize this great company. The future holds enormous opportunity, and it's a challenge that calls for our continued, shared commitment. As you go about your jobs in 2012, bring your determination and passion to the task at hand and have faith in your leadership and each other to create a great future.

Profit sharing details

— The eligible profit share amount is $1,500.*
— The profit sharing Payment will be paid on Feb. 10.
— The pay statement will be available on ePay or mailed to the address on record.
— Applicable income taxes, mandatory wage attachments, and, if applicable, deferred pay will be withheld from the payment.
— Union dues in the amount of 1.15 percent will be deducted from the profit sharing payment.
