Chrysler chief says 2010 net profit difficult to achieve
Toledo -- CEO Sergio Marchionne said today it will be difficult for Chrysler Group LLC to post a net profit for the full year.
Marchionne accompanied Vice President Joe Biden on a visit to the Jeep assembly plant in Toledo today, and made the comments to reporters.
Auburn Hills-based Chrysler has posted two consecutive quarters of operating profit but carries high interest on its loans, and needs to update 75 percent of its vehicles by the end of the year.
