08 Dodge Nitro R/t Options Trouble

Just lettin people know that on Saturday, me and my wife purchased a 08 Sunburst nitro R/T in Alberta Canada. We where looking for a full meal deal we where able to find the close to exact truck on a lot, but the options Mygig and the NAV where not optioned nor are unavailable threw Dodge and they showed us a bullitin that this also effect other dodge and jeep models with the same options. They said we could order the truck we wanted but said it would probably be disappointing after the long wait and then Dodge calling and saying you can't have it. The problem is with a supplier. We can always add these options if product comes around but the price will be around $2000. Anyone else hear about this, curious if this is a Canadian screw over or of we're all in the same boat.

We ordered a R/T about 6 months ago it came in today as an 2008.
When we ordered it we thought it would have all wheel drive.
This 2008 is a 4X4 not an all wheel drive, is this an over sight on my part,
or are all R/T's being made, 4x4's

AWD has never made it to any model or year of Nitro. It was something that Dodge backed out on early in the 2007 year & has never listed since.

13000 miles on my 4x4 SLT, many of it towing in muddy & snowy conditions & never had a problem with the 4WD system at all.

Chrysler decided to protect their JEEP Brand and keep the FT 4X4 with the off-road Jeep Liberty and keep the Nitro on-road. I too wanted FT 4 wheel drive but don't think it will happen, now. Could change in the future but the 08 Nitro does not show this option now as the 07 Nitro did, but was never available. Still really like my R/T and when the warranty was changed in the United States to lifetime on power-train, I bought one the next day!

The RER nav radio was on restriction for awhile last month, but is now available. Anyone ordering a Nitro will be able to get the navigation radio, and your dealer would have known that had they checked, sounds like they just wanted to move what they had on the lot.

my silver 08 RT is in transit.

I was told when I ordered it (july) that mygig would take more time - like 5 weeks so I opted out. This was a legit scenario IMO as far as I know..

Lord knows R/Ts in canada were next to impossible to find, and this was for new 08s.

I got leather an "premium sound group" which is the 6 disc and infinity.

P.S. congrats dude, I'm in alberta too by the way.. Innisfail, and my Silver beast should be here in a week or 2 from Ontario.
