Aftermarket speakers and subs

Hey everyone. I got a nice black 4x4 nitro from my parents after my college graduation and I have some nice subs left in my old car. (2 JL 12'' W2s) Now I wouldnt want these going to waste so I want them in the Nitro of course, but wasnt sure about how to do it while still keeping the U-connect bluetooth phone system.

I figured they might be able to go straight into the stock head unit, but then (if it works) I dont have a sub control. But if I get a new head unit I lose the U-connect.

Any thoughts?

Re: Aftermarket speakers and subs

You probably won't be able to hook them up to the stock amplifier... and would have to go to an aftermarket unit. Metra does make wireing harnesses so you can keep the existing headunit and add on remote turnon leads etc to hook up an amp.

Hope this helps.
