Re: Dodge Nitro Vs. Toyota FJ Cruiser

The 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser: $21,910MSRP Starting

The 2007 Dodge Nitro R/T: $25,970MSRP Starting

Note: The Nitro has Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more features then the FJC. They both have there goods and bad. The FJ only takes 92 Octane gas or higher, means $$$$

Re: Dodge Nitro Vs. Toyota FJ Cruiser

I thnk the Toyota FJ Cruiser would be an excellent choice. They are generally excellent cars and well built. I put 130,000 on one and changed the plugs once plus tires and stuff. Kind of goofy door set up. Pick the looks you like.

Re: Dodge Nitro Vs. Toyota FJ Cruiser

I still like the Nitro better. I was reading the Consumer Report magazine and they toke 6 Off Road SUVs and the FJ failed all the test falling at last. So, most likely changes are looking up for the Nitro. I am going to go test drive the Nitro, FJ, and Jeep Patriot this weekend or sometime soon. Can't Wait!

And that's an Nitro R/T. Top of the line action. I got a Light Khaki Metallic SXT loaded up for under 21K (which is really just mostly a... what style do you like thing... no real base model)... and could have gotten an SLT loaded up for under 24K.

Toyota makes a solid vehical but there is NO EXCUSE for the terrible gas mileage or the high octane requirement. I looked at the Toy... I liked the look... but I could never justify buying something that size with those gas numbers. It's pitiful... and the Nitro is every bit as cool!
