Looking to buy a Nitro

Hello everyone. Its a nice forum community you have all built here.

My wife has her eye on a 2007 Nitro RT 4.0 4x4 with ~ 47,000 miles on it. It has most of the available options, Navigation, Sunroof, heated leather, ect. I have been doing some checking around and saw that there are some recalls out for the Nitro, but since they should be covered by the dealer this isn't a bog deal for us.

My main question is this; Is there anything that I should specifically look at or check over on this vehicle before we decide to buy it? If I can find anything not covered by the recalls I want to have this dealer fix it before we buy it, but I have to know what to look for.

How much are they asking for it also is it a dealer sale or a privet sale ? Get the vin # and get a CarFax report .

They are asking $15k. Its for sale at my local Ford dealer. I will ask for the carfax.
