This event started with a simple thread on CustomMagnums.com, by Sean (Bay Area Magnum) which stated, “I want to plan a FLORIDA meet !!!*** BIG ****” from there it just steam rolled into so much more, and with a purpose.
Mopar Show Off ‘09 is ramping up to be a huge car show. Scheduled for April, 5th 2009 at Old Town in Kissimmee, all the proceeds will benefit a local charity, “
Kid’s Beating Cancer”. This will be a huge event for them during the struggling economy.
John Burleson, a Custommagnums.com member and the founder and creative director of Concussion Studios, a new media design studio in North Carolina, has donated a website for the Mopar Show Off! Burleson states: “That once the show went from a meet and greet to a car show for charity, we felt we the need to donate the site to help the committee collect donations, and give sponsors and added value for their time, money and effort. Besides, Mopar vehicles have been at the forefront of American design and power for more than 60 years, and represent the same ideals we strive for at
Concussion Studios.”
The site will continue to evolve as over time, with new animated elements for the sponsors and more informational sections as the show comes together. The goal is to provide the information, as well as to have a central hub for attendees and sponsors.
