Dodge Brand Revving Up for 2013 AMA Monster Energy Supercross Season

The start of the 2013 racing season is upon us, and Dodge is poised to enter its third year as a team sponsor of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series Race this weekend in Anaheim, Calif.
This year, Dodge is forming an official automotive partner with RCH Racing. Owners Carey Hart and Ricky Carmichael are the driving force behind RCH, and the two will field a pair of Dodge/Sycuan/Bel-Ray Suzuki RM-Z450s in the Series.
Rider Broc Tickle (No. 20 Dodge/Sycuan/Suzuki) will be making his first start with RCH Racing. He scored a career-best Anaheim finish of 10th in the 450-class in Round 4 last year.
Rider Josh Hill (No. 75 Dodge/Sycuan/Suzuki) returns for his second season with RCH. Hill has 15 top-five and 29 top-10 finishes since turning pro in 2006. He has a career-best finish of fifth in the 2008 season standings.
“What a great opportunity,” notes Hill. “I’m really excited. I’m really impressed with how everything has worked out. It couldn’t have worked out better. To have Suzuki, Yoshimura, Dodge, Sycuan and Bel-Ray, all the mechanics, we’re in really good shape. I’ve been really impressed with everything. With Ricky (Carmichael) there and knowing the Suzuki like he does, his knowledge of the bike is amazing.”
“The Suzuki bike is a great base to start with,” says Tickle. “It has a really plush chassis and it turns really well. The Yoshimura factory Suzuki had so much development in it that when I first got on the bike, it was ready to race. It’s just a great bike.”
SRT Motorsports/Dodge will have an at-track presence inside the RCH paddock at all 17 Monster Energy Supercross Series events this year. The display will feature an opportunity for fans to win an all-new 2013 Dodge Dart and a trip to the 2013 season finale in Las Vegas in April.
SPEED will televise the AMA Supercross event live from Anaheim beginning Saturday at 9:30 p.m. (ET).
Supercross is a motorcycle racing sport involving off-road motorcycles on an artificially-made dirt track consisting of steep jumps and obstacles. Professional supercross races are held almost exclusively within professional baseball and football stadia.
