▼ 31% Ford, 129,898 units vs. 189,247 units
▼ 31% Mercedes, 15,910 units vs. 22,954 units
▼ 34% GM, 172,115 units vs. 259,342 units
▼ 38% BMW, 19,362 units vs. 31,448 units
▼ 38% Nissan, 47,190 units vs. 75,855 units
▼ 42% Toyota, 126,540 units vs. 217,700 units
▼ 48% Chrysler, 76,682 units vs. 147,751 units
The seasonally adjusted annual selling rate (SAAR) for the U.S. auto industry in April was 9.5 million units compared with March’s 10.0 million unit selling rate and last April’s rate of 14.8 million units.
