Asian Network picnic is Saturday, Aug. 15

Mark your calendar and bring your whole family. The Chrysler Asian Network (CAN) will host its annual family picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Firefighters’ Park in Troy, Mich. (1800 W. Square Lake Rd., between Coolidge and Crooks roads). CAN has reserved the site.
This year’s event will be potluck style, so attendees are encouraged to bring food and drinks to share or grill. Those who don’t feel like cooking can contribute $5/adult and $3/child for all inclusive food (including pizza and pop).
CAN will provide basic utensils, cleaning supplies and some sporting equipment. The site is equipped with a few grill stands and some sport facilities.
