Ford Motor Co. has sold more than a half million Fiesta cars since introducing it in Europe a year ago as it prepares to sell the tiny global car in the United States next summer, the Detroit Free Press reported.
The Fiesta is the second-biggest selling car in Europe and tops in the small-car segment, the paper said. Following its European introduction, the Fiesta was launched in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and China, the Free Press noted.
The Fiesta will make its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in December, the story said. (Detroit Free Press)
