Gm fires mr. Goodwrench

GM FIRES MR. GOODWRENCH

Quote:
GM got rid of Oldsmobile, Saturn, Hummer, and Pontiac, and now it’s shedding another iconic brand. The company announced it will phase out the Mr. Goodwrench brand starting in February. GM says the move will help strengthen the brands it’s keeping: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC. Each will get its own Certified Service brand to replace Mr. Goodwrench. For example, Chevrolet Certified Service, Cadillac Certified Service, and so on. GM created Mr. Goodwrench back in the 1970s to promote its parts and service dealerships.
