Lamborghini makes 2008 profit, cautious on outlook

Lamborghini says it made record deliveries and profits in 2008, but noted that the economic uncertainty has not left it unscathed, the Associated Press reported.
On Wednesday, the Italian company (and Fiat subsidiary) posted a pretax profit of 60 million euros ($79.6 million) for last year, the AP said. That was up 27 percent from 47.1 million euros in 2007. Net profit figures have not been released.
The company also did not provide a forecast for 2009, but claimed “the overall target for the 2009 financial year is to attain an overall profit,” the story said. (Associated Press/Detroit News)
