You could say Penske Racing's Brad Keselowski lost the battle but won the war.
The driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger finished 15th Sunday in the final NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup race of the season at Homestead-Miami, but it was good enough to win the 2012 Chase Championship.
Sam Hornish, Jr., finished strong on the NASCAR Nationwide circuit, while Ryan Blaney suffered a disappointing finish in Camping World Truck Series action.
