DODGE NATIONWIDE QUOTES
“I love Iowa. It’s one of my favorite tracks on the circuit. I’ve raced there a few times in the ARCA Series. We always seemed to be able to lead plenty of laps there, but we never did get a win. We were really good there last year in the Nationwide Series. We almost sat on the pole, we actually tied for the pole, but started second. We raced well all night, but had some problems not of our own doing that took us out of contention. I’m excited about going back there. Justin Allgaier, No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger
“From the moment it was announced that the Nationwide Series would race at Iowa, I circled that date on the schedule. It became a really important race for me. There was going to be only one inaugural winner of that race and I wanted to be that driver. It came down to Kyle (Busch) and I at the end and I believe we put on a good show for the fans over the final laps of the race. I only display a few of my trophies in my house and that Iowa trophy is one of them. Although this weekend will be busier than last year with the travel back and forth to Pocono, I feel like my No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger team can give me a car that I can drive to Victory Lane again.” Brad Keselowski, No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger

- BRAD KESELOWSKI (No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger) Finished 4th
"The last pit stop, we took two and a bunch of guys took four (tires). I agree with our strategy. Just so many guys took two that we just couldn't get by all of them. It was a solid fourth-place for us. I thought that we had a second-place car. I don't think that we had anything for Kyle, he was really strong. We were really fast; we just didn't get what we needed to put our Discount Tire Dodge in Victory Lane. We ran well and I'm proud of all my guys.
“Like I said, I think that we had a second-place car. We just couldn’t seem to get by the leaders. We fought hard. Just one of them days where the pit cycle put a lot of cars by us on two tires. I got by most of them, but couldn’t get by all of them. It’s another good point’s night for us in the driver standings. Big picture, we came here and did what we needed to do. We ran hard, up-front and put some points between us and the 60. Overall we should be pretty happy with the race.”
JUSTIN ALLGAIER (No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger) Finished 8th
“I feel like we had a seventh-place car. Unfortunately, the 15 car got around us on the last restart and jammed me down on the bottom. The Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger guys were awesome all day. We threw a lot at the car tonight and Chad (Walter, crew chief) made great calls all race. We worked really hard on the car, but just didn’t get the results that we wanted. The determination to never give up is what’s going to win championships and my guys never quit tonight. We had a bad night and still finished eighth. It was a good night because we gained some points back on second-place. When you have bad nights, this is the kind of bad night that you need to have versus limping home in 30th. We’ll take it and move on to Watkins Glen next weekend.”
