Tulsa Police looking for murder victim's car

On August 2, 2010 at 7:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 4450 N. Detroit Avenue.

When officers arrived they found 25-year-old Eric Vann Spotwood dead on the front porch of an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Investigators say Spotwood's black Dodge Nitro was taken during the incident.

Homicide Victim's Vehicle Located

Tulsa police say detectives have located the vehicle belonging to a man found shot to death in north Tulsa yesterday.

The black Dodge Nitro was found abandoned near the Arkansas River in the 53-hundred block of West 12th Street.

Police found the body of 25-year-old Eric Vann Spotwood on the front porch of an abandoned home in the 44-hundred block of North Detroit Monday evening.

Police say it appears Spotwood was shot near a car wash at 46th Street North and Cincinnati and ran nearly a block before collapsing. He had been shot once in the chest.
