Hitch Cargo Carrier

Review of the SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier on a 2011 Dodge Nitro - etrailer.com

Published on Dec 22, 2015

Today on our 2011 Dodge Nitro we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista cargo carrier. This is going to be your 20" wide by 60" long cargo carrier with that expanded metal base for easy cleanability, as well as a sturdy steel construction that's going to offer a 500 pound weight capacity. Down here you're going to have your 2" shank attaching to our 2" receiver, with the use of a 3/4" anti-rattle bolt to help reduce the sway, rattle, and wobble. This will be part number SR9849. Let's go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest measurement will be the distance from the front of the rack to the backside of the bumper. That distance is going to be about 9-3/4".

K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier

Review of the Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier on a 2011 Dodge Nitro - etrailer.com

Published on Dec 30, 2015

Today on our 2011 Dodge Nitro, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Detail K2 Cargo Carrier, part number K2HCC602. This cargo carrier does not come with your hitch pin and clip, so if you'd like to obtain one, you can get it on our website, part number PC3. This rack is going to be 20 by 60 inch, 20 inches wide by 60 inches long, with that nice expanded metal bottom for easy cleaning. It's also going to come with a two-inch shank for your two-inch receivers, as you can see here, and that nice folding shank that'll put it in that nice stowed position once we're done. Let's go ahead and get a few measurements. Our closest distance will be our first measurement at about 14 and five-eighths inches. Overall distance that we've added to the vehicle is going to be about 35 and three-quarter inches, with that rear ground clearance of about 13 and three-quarter inches.
