Just wanted to say "hi" from a new member.
I bought an '08 Nitro a couple of weeks ago - a total change in my vehicle ownership from the usual diesel Euro-vans. I've never owned an American car before, and now I don't know why I never did - there are so many touches that make things civilised. I bought the Nitro because it's so spacious, tough and utilitarian for all the outdoor stuff I do, but comfortable enough for the family too. I think the Nitro is amazing, and I always have a huge smile on my face after driving it, even if it terrifies the old ladies on the small roads around here when they catch sight of the huge chrome grille towering over them.
I should say thanks, too - I've been mining this forum for information since I first saw the Nitro in a car advert, and it's been incredibly useful in fixing and understanding it.
I had the ABS/ESP light problem a couple of days ago, and spoke to the dealer, mentioning that I'd seen threads mentioning the wheel speed sensors. The dealer said not to listen to "guys on the internet", but I bought a couple of sensors anyway and brought them in "just in case". Of course, you guys were right and the car was straight back on the road after they fitted the sensors
