Chrysler Canada’s Ram Truck Tow & Haul Tour offers something for everyone with test drives, vehicle display, interactive games and a contest to win an all-new Ram 1500.
July 28, 2011 , Windsor, Ontario - More pickup owners are switching to Ram 1500 than any other light duty pickup truck. Ram Trucks are known for their quality, reliability, versatility and styling with best-in-class capability, Cummins durability, best-in-class towing and unsurpassed torque. Consumers can check out the full line of Ram Trucks first-hand at key events throughout the country as part of the Ram Tow & Haul Tour, taking place through the end of November. The Ram Tow & Haul Tour offers participants a chance to win a Ram 1500, provides an opportunity to speak with Ram product ambassadors about the full truck line-up, take a test drive and play an interesting game called “What Kind of Ram Are You”.
“What better way to demonstrate the Ram Truck capabilities than to hit the road and let people experience firsthand why Ram 1500 is Canada’s fastest growing pickup truck and why our Ram Heavy Duties are Canada’s number-one selling diesel truck,” said Ed Broadbear, Vice President Marketing, Chrysler Canada. “Whether you enjoy outdoor sport and adventure, tailgating before the game, heavy construction, farming, or doing work around the house, we have a Ram Truck to suit every need.”
All visitors have the opportunity to enter the Ram Tow & Haul contest for a chance to win a Ram 1500. iPads can be found at the display sites to allow for easy entry. Take-away cards will also be available with contest coordinates for people who wish to enter from home.
“What Kind of Ram Are You” is an inflatable bungee-run game that demonstrates the competitive nature of Ram Truck drivers. Participants compete in pairs and race up their ‘roads’ pulling hard and running fast, in an attempt to pass as many of the tow capacity benchmarks as possible (1500, 2500, 3500). The person who goes the furthest and is the fastest to drop their Ram place marker wins. The winner can claim one of three prizes designated to each tow capacity.
